Tunafish sandwich piece
On the occasion of YOKO ONO: DREAM TOGETHER at Berlin’s Neue Nationalgalerie and the premiere of the documentary film One to One: John & Yoko, dok.revue magazine publishes an instructional piece by artist, singer, songwriter, and activist Yoko Ono.
Screened in Czech cinemas at the beginning of summer, the documentary One to One: John & Yoko follows Yoko Ono and John Lennon’s life in Greenwich Village in the early 1970s, weaving their personal and artistic journeys together with the unfolding events in American politics.
Tunafish sandwich piece
Imagine one thousand suns in the
sky at the same time.
Let them shine for one hour.
Then, let them gradually melt
into the sky.
Make one tunafish sandwich and eat.
This instruction piece was created in the spring of 1964. © Yoko Ono
